 Halifax’s Willie Stratton to showcase at 2016 Americana Music Festival and Conference in Nashville, TN. The only East Coast artist to be selected to showcase this year at this CIMA event, Willie plays Saturday, September 24. Canadian Blast, a CIMA initiative, is presented by Music Export Canada. The event runs from noon-6pm at InDo Nashville, 632 Fogg Street, Nashville, TN 37203, United States. Willie’s showcase will run 30 minutes, and kicks off at 12:45pm. The Canadian companies joining the Music Export Canada mission will be: Balsam Pier Music, Borealis Records, Mavens Music, Outside Music, Porch Swing Entertainment, Starfish Entertainment Inc and Mission Management Group. Companies will get the opportunity to participate in B2B matchmaking meetings as well as a “Meet the Canadians” networking event on Thursday, September 22. ABOUT WILLIE STRATTON: Willie Stratton is a guitar slinger who comes to the stage with a telecaster in one hand and an archtop in the other. His songs range from mournful trail ballads to blistering honky tonk numbers, from cryin’ in your beer bucket to cuttin’ a rug at the county fair.
