“T.Nile has been turning some heads in this country and abroad with her brazen
blend of folk roots and pop and everything in between. Her music jumps out at you while you listen to it,
and in the most simple terms imaginable, it’s staggeringly good" -Tom Power, CBC.
“Sweet Talker” is the debut single from T. Nile’s upcoming Beachfires release, out April 2019. Co written, co produced and performed by T. Nile and Sadowick, the single has a St. Vincent/Robyn vibe with a very T. Nile voice.
"Sweet Talker is about waking up from the story we are sold as young artists. Like in Hollywood, parts of the music industry 'sweet talk' and exploit young artists and I, like many others, experienced this when I was starting out. Eventually I became disillusioned and exhausted, so I stepped away to regroup. Now, with my new album "Beachfires", I'm coming back, with a new found confidence, knowing I'm walking away from that illusion and making my own path." - T. Nile

ABOUT T. NILE
T. Nile is an award-winning Canadian performing songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. Blending gritty western guitars, soulful harmonies, bright banjo arpeggios, dark beats, and electro-pop accents, Nile creates a sound at the leading edge of the Electro-folk movement.
As producers and songwriters, T. Nile and Sadowick broke new sonic ground with their upcoming album “Beachfires”, out in April 2019, a collection of songs that represents a big step forward in T. Nile’s journey of blending of traditionally conflicting musical styles.
A native of BC’s Galiano Island, T. Nile spent a good part of her childhood and teens touring throughout North America and Australia with her father, a multi-instrumentalist sidewalk entertainer. The lifestyle took root and, since her first LP "At My Table", her musical offerings have captured the hearts of audiences across the globe.
Running on 2 LPs, 3 EPs, and a handful of single releases, Nile has won “Best New/Emerging Artist” at the Canadian Folk Music Awards and played major events like the Edmonton and Winnipeg Folk Festivals.
In April of 2019 T. Nile will release her fourth album “Beachfires” and spend much of the year touring in support of the record in Europe, and Canada. The first release "Note to Self" is streaming worldwide, “Sweet Talker” is the first single to radio.
