(Sept 8, 2014 - Halifax, NS) Thursday September 18th, The Company House & SpinCount will host the 7th social evening! This Month we welcome three extremely talented up & coming bands from Halifax - The Big Get Even, The Regal Beagle Band & The Odd Bit! The Big Get Even Windows down and stereo up, you're cruising along a country back road. The gilded sounds of a bygone era flow strong and steady through the speakers. For reasons unknown, your spirits soar and troubles vanish like exhaust out the tailpipes. In that moment, all is well with the world. Somehow you just know: everything's gonna be all right. That feeling is the essence of The Big Get Even, a Pop/Rock quartet from Halifax, Nova Scotia. In the musically rich atmosphere of Halifax you’ll find The Regal Beagle Band standing their ground and spreading their message. Expressing their passion through a 5-piece “rock ‘n’ roll band with a fiddle,” The Regal Beagle Band is a workhorse in their own right. They’ve learned that it takes more than endless writing, relentless performing, and meticulous studio work to make a name for themselves; it also takes some good old fashioned elbow grease. Forming in late 2010; The Odd Bit brings “Modern day rock n’ roll with vintage lovability.” Based out of Halifax, Nova Scotia this four piece is a high energy band who does everything in their will to leave a good “first impression.” They keep the crowd entertained with their upbeat grooves, soaring guitar solos and in your face vocal deliverance. The SpinCount Social is a monthly event that showcases artists from all over the East Coast, from emerging to established.
