SPINCOUNT AND FOLK MUSIC CANADA ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP FOR 2015 / 2016 CONFERENCES AND EVENTS
(September 3, 2015 - Halifax, NS) SpinCount and Folk Music Canada (FMC) announce a partnership for the upcoming 2015/2016 Music Conference Season. Folk Music Canada has contracted with SpinCount to create and implement a digital marketing and communications plan for key national and international music conferences.
Music Festivals include; Americana Music Festival (Nashville, TN - USA), Folk Music Ontario (Toronto, ON), North East Regional Folk Alliance / NERFA (Kerhonkson, NY - USA) Association of Performing Arts Presenters / APAP (NY, NY - USA), and Folk Alliance International / FAI (Kansas City, MO).
SpinCount will oversee the promotions efforts by creating and implementing a digital marketing plan and will be in attendance to assist on the ground throughout the events. This digital marketing and communications plan will target industry stakeholders, conference delegates and performers. By using digital marketing and online social sites, SpinCount and FMC will create brand awareness before, during and after the events by communicating the schedule, performers, music and FMC brand.
Folk Music Canada began working with SpinCount for international contact events such as NERFA and Folk Alliance International in 2014/2015 to raise awareness for their brand, showcases, artists showcasing and events. The digital marketing campaigns were highly successful, and based on the growth and brand awareness achieved at those events, FMC engaged SpinCount for this year’s season.
