(June 5, 2017 - Halifax, NS) The 2017 TD Halifax Jazz Festival takes place July 12-16 throughout Halifax, featuring free daytime programming and nightly ticketed shows. Media applications for the event are open now until Friday, June 16, 2017. The festival is the largest annual non-profit music festival in Atlantic Canada and we are asking all interested media to apply via the Halifax Jazz Festival website.
The 31st edition of the TD Halifax Jazz Festival presents stages at the historic St. Matthew’s Church, the popular main stage on the Halifax Waterfront, along with partnered and late night stages throughout the city. Main stage acts are Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Jo Mersa Marly and Jesse Royal, Blue Rodeo, The Mellotones and Gypsophilia (please note we still have more programming to announce, including Thursday night Main Stage Act, free daytime programming, Stingray Rising Stars and more.)
