For three days in January, Halifax will host twenty acts, with performances at Timber Lounge, the Seahorse Tavern, and Good Robot Brewing Company. This year’s lineup showcases some of North America’s outstanding singer-songwriters and acoustic performers including The Wooden Sky, Justin Rutledge, Irish Mythen, Jennifer Castle, Jim Bryson, Dan Misha Goldman, and Andrea Ramolo (Scarlet Jane), along with an impressive array of east coast artists including Kurt Inder, Laurenn Marchand, Dylan Menzie, Villages, and Julie Doiron, with more to be announced in the coming weeks.
The festival kicks off Wednesday, January 18 at Good Robot Brewing Company with a special opening night party.
Timber Lounge shows (featuring Jim Bryson, Irish Mythen, et al) start nightly at 7:30 pm. Tickets for the Timber Lounge Thursday night show are $20 advance purchase, $25 door. Timbre Lounge Friday and Saturday night shows are $15 advance purchase, $20 at the door. Seahorse shows (including The Wooden Sky and Jennifer Castle, et al) start at 9:30 pm and are $20 advance, $25 at the door. Good Robot Brewing Company will host two song-circles each night of the festival, at 7:00 pm and 8:30 pm
This year IDOW will be hosting a Bluegrass Brunch at Seven Bays Bouldering Cafe on Saturday, January 21.

Early Bird Festival passes are $75 if purchased before December 1, afterward, they will cost the standard festival price of $90. Festival passes (including early bird festival passes) are for the full weekend activities and include admission to the Bluegrass Brunch.
