FOLK MUSIC ONTARIO ANNOUNCES MAJOR SAVINGS WITH EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION RATE ON UNTIL JULY 317/12/2018 (Ottawa - July 12, 2018) The 32nd annual Folk Music Ontario Conference will take place September 27-30, 2018, in Mississauga, ON and early bird rates are on until July 31. Join FMO as a member and save even more before the rates increase, and become part of the thriving and inclusive folk music community with local and international impact. Folk Music Ontario is a key conference for Canada’s folk, roots, and traditional music community, bringing more than 700 delegates together to listen, celebrate and learn from each other. Delegates learn about new products and services for performers and presenters; interact with panelists during educational seminars and workshops; engage in lively roundtable discussions and private meetings with industry professionals; along with celebrating recipients of songwriting and lifetime achievement awards. Conference registration for the 2018 edition is open NOW. Early bird pricing is on until July 31, at midnight EDT and is $360.95 for members, and $479.60 for non-members. JOIN Folk Music Ontario, and as a member, receive the lowest registration rates, which is a saving of $118.00*. Non-members are welcome to join FMO at registration time in order to receive member rates. The registration rate after midnight (EDT) on July 31, 2018 is $479.60 for members and $598.25 for non-members. New this year, FMO Member ID numbers are needed to register for the member rate.
