 FOLK MUSIC CANADA AT 2016 FOLK ALLIANCE INTERNATIONAL (February 3, 2016 - Toronto, ON) Folk Music Canada is pleased to announce its activities for the 2016 Folk Alliance International conference in Kansas City, including showcases, a reception and festival style workshops, all taking place under the banner of #FMCTopnotch. Folk Music Canada is hosting 75 showcase performances, in two rooms over four days at the conference’s host hotel. These performances will feature more than 80 artists from across Canada, including five 2016 JUNO nominees and five 2015 Canadian Folk Music Award winners. During these afternoon, round-robin presentations, 20 Canadians will share the stage with 15 international artists.
