September 17, 2014 – Charlottetown, PEI – The Meds
Charlottetown rock band The Meds are excited to release their first music video, and even more excited to have it premier on television screens across Canada.
On Wednesday, September 24, The Meds will appear on the popular morning news program Canada AM. The Island boys will be interviewed and then play the notorious Canada AM Soundstage, which has been graced by renowned artists Jason Mraz, Rascall Flats, The Trews and Christina Perry, to name a few.
Also during this episode, The Meds will release the music video for South America, their second single and title track of their April 2014 full length album.
Ottawa will be the second stop on The Meds’ Eastern Canadian Fall Tour, which begins the previous night – September 23, at the legendary Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto.
“We’re all really excited to be hitting the road together again,” says frontman Kyle Drake. “A lot of great things have happened since our last tour, and the energy we’ve built up will definitely register with our fans.”
This tour will reunite The Island rockers with Ontario Folk-Rock group The Royal Streets – with whom they toured with this past spring - for six Ontario shows. Additionally, The Meds will be joined by fellow Charlottetown rock band Coyote and London band to watch Texas King for their East Coast dates.
Tune into Canada AM at 9AM on September 24 to see the very first viewing of South America!
